A four-step migration

  1. Step 1

    Make a migration inventory

    List every active client, upcoming payment, signed agreement, scheduled visit, and balance. This becomes the checklist you use to verify the new account.

  2. Step 2

    Export and download your records

    HoneyBook exports contacts as a CSV and lets you save smart files as PDFs. Dubsado exports client and project data as a CSV. Keep an untouched local copy of every export.

  3. Step 3

    Review the import with Junie

    During design-partner onboarding, we will identify what can be imported and what needs manual review. We will not tell you a record moved unless you can see it in the new account.

  4. Step 4

    Verify before cancelling

    Check at least one active client from inquiry through contract and payment. Reconcile every active balance and confirm that signed files open. Cancel the old tool only after those checks pass.

Questions to settle before moving

Should I wait until my current annual plan ends?

Check your vendor's cancellation and refund terms first. If the plan is already paid, keeping access during migration can reduce risk. Junie does not yet publish a credit or reimbursement policy for unused competitor subscriptions.

Will moving records notify my clients?

Importing records does not itself send a client message. Agent-assisted inquiry and follow-up drafts begin in review mode. During onboarding, confirm the behavior of every client-facing workflow before you connect it to imported records.

What if the export leaves something out?

Keep access to the old account while you compare the export with your migration inventory. Some documents must be downloaded separately, and some fields may need manual entry. We will agree on that scope before moving data.

What happens if Junie is not ready for my practice?

Do not cancel your current system. Run Junie alongside it on the free plan until a full engagement has gone through end to end. Confirm the workflow your practice depends on with sample data first.
