Doula payment schedule calculator
Enter an estimated due date and package price, then adjust the example payment and on-call settings to match your practice. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
Business-planning example only. This is not legal, financial, or medical advice, and it does not calculate gestational age.
Example schedule
Timing check: the selected final-payment date is less than a week away or has passed. Agree on a workable schedule before the client signs rather than relying on this example.
Your client agreement should explain what happens when dates or services change. This calculator does not decide whether a payment is earned, due, refundable, or enforceable.
In Junie, a doula selects the schedule and Junie calculates the calendar dates, shows them to the client, and keeps agent-generated payment outreach out of the birth window. See how it works →
The questions behind the math
- Is there one standard doula payment schedule?
- No. Practices use different initial payments, installment plans, and final deadlines. The schedule should match the services, booking date, client agreement, and any state rules that apply to deposits, retainers, cancellations, or refunds.
- Why calculate a deadline from the estimated due date?
- Some birth doulas plan payments and on-call availability by week of pregnancy. Converting the selected week into a calendar date makes the agreement easier to follow. You can change both week fields here to match your own practice.
- What if the birth or service plan changes?
- Do not assume the calculated schedule still applies. Review the signed agreement, pause any automatic collection that no longer fits, and document any revised payment, credit, service, or refund arrangement. State law may affect the available options.
